The Smart Link SL084/168/320 series is designed as an ideal serial to Ethernet solution for remote access applications.

It is based on a reliable AMD Au1100 processor using MIPS 32bit technology.

The SmartLink SL168P features 16 full function RS232 serial ports or eight RS232s and eight RS422/485s.

More specifically, it is filled with powerful communication interfaces, such as dual 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet ports, two serial console ports, one full function RS232/422/485 port (including dial-out), and one simple RS232/422/485, two versatile USB 1.1 interfaces, as well as a CompactFlash interface.

On the serial ports the maximum transmission speed has been demonstrated up to 921Kbaud, and so users can be assured that critical applications will not be slowed by throughput or latency issues.
