1U network appliance is based on Intel Pentium M or Celeron M processors, which produce high performance while consuming very little power.

AR Infotek had developed a new 1U appliance the Teak 5010 for Internet security applications such as SSL VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, intrusion detection etc The Teak 5010 is based on Intel Pentium M or Celeron M processors, which produce high performance while consuming very little power

Like any other appliance from the AR Infotek's Teak series products, the Teak 5010 is also fully compatible with various Windows operation systems such as Windows XP/2000/XP Embedded/WinCE and Linux operation systems such as Red Hat, Fedora and FreeBSD.

With the Intel 915GM North Bridge and ICH6-M South Bridge chipsets, the Teak 5010 can support Intel Pentium M and Celeron M processors at 400 and 533MHz, respectively, and front side bus up to 2.0GHz.

This powerful 1U appliance also has two channels of DDRII memory which can support up 1.5Gbyte of RAM without ECC.

The appliance supports up to four PCIe Intel 82573L GbE LAN controllers and four PCI Intel 82551ER 10/100Mbit LAN controllers, and both LAN port sets are via one pair of bypass LAN ports.

With up to eight LAN ports, the Teak 5010 can have various combinations to meet a variety of different application requirements.

The Teak 5010 can be booted from an internal Compact Flash Disk-On-Chip Flash module, and also has a drive bay for a 2.5in hard drive with either IDE or SATA support.

It also supports a 2 x 20 display with four control buttons on the front panel, allowing OEMs to design the configuration as they desire.

The newly developed Teak 5010 has kept many of the features from the original Teak series and also added several new features.
