Expanding range of trimmer potentiometers

An Arun Components product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Oct 22, 2008

Kingtronics has expanded its range of Cermet through-hole trimmer potentiometers.

The rectangular/square trimmer potentiometer ranges are industry standard, sealed, single and multi-turn potentiometers.

Kingtronics can now offer eight different product styles with typical resistance values from 10 ohms to 5 M ohms, and tolerances of +/- 5 or 10 per cent.

Within each different product style there are a variety of different lead configurations and different positions for the adjuster.

The circular trimmer potentiometer range now has 13 different product styles, with diameters of six, eight, nine and 10 mm.

All are industrial single turn potentiometers, either cermet or phenolic.

Typically the circular potentiometers have a resistance range from 100 ohms to one or two M ohms; with tolerances of +/- 5, 10, 20 or 30 per cent, dependent on the product.

The circular trimmer potentiometers are available in horizontal or vertical mounting styles.

Many ranges also have 'PCB stand-off' and 'retention' features, and front or top adjustment styles.

Surface mount products have not been forgotten and Kingtronics presently have a 1/4in square SMD single turn sealed product, and a 3mm diameter SMD 'EIAJ standard footprint' trimmer.

Both parts have rotors compatible with automatic adjustment equipment.

The Kingtronics product range includes precision multiturn wirewound potentiometers, high voltage ceramic capacitors, tantalum capacitors, varistors and SMD rectifiers.

These products are available on short lead times from Arun Components.
