Clark takes charge of design solutions

Steve Clark has been appointed as the director of Arrow Design Solutions, the design-in focused group recently created by Arrow Electronics.

Steve Clark has been appointed as the director of Arrow Design Solutions, the design-in focused group recently created by Arrow Electronics.

Reporting to Chris McAneny, the group's managing director, Clark will be responsible for delivering focused support services to customers with specific design-in requirements.

Steve has a strong sales and marketing background and has been with Arrow for over 7 years.

Prior to his new role, Clark was the sales and marketing director for Microtronica, an Arrow company that he joined in 1994.

Before that he spent 8 years at Texas Instruments.

On his new appointment, Clark commented, "Arrow Design Solutions addresses the conflicting needs of engineers and purchasers within the customer base.

We offer focussed field sales, marketing and engineering support across nine key franchises to the engineering community, while maintaining a single point of internal contact giving access to the full Arrow line card".

Clark added, "This is a unique offering in the marketplace, and has been extremely well received by both our customers and suppliers".
