Arrow joins the Philips GA billionaires
club
Arrow Electronics has received a European award from Philips Semiconductors for shipping over one billion of the company's general application discrete devices.
Arrow Electronics has received a European award from Philips Semiconductors for shipping over one billion of the company's general application discrete devices The Philips Semiconductors "GA billionaires club" award is open to all the company's worldwide customers and is based on sales of discretes such as standard transistors, power transistors, diodes, rectifiers and other general application devices
Arrow passed the one billion mark for these devices in 2002.
Discussing the award, Chris McAneny, marketing director for Arrow Northern Europe, comments: "Arrow has a long history of exceptional performance on the Philips Semiconductor line.
We are pleased to win this award and to again be the number one UK distributor based on resales for 2001.
