Motorola has named Arrow Electronics as the company's best North European sales performer for sales of semiconductors in 2002.
The award, based on sales of Motorola products in the UK and the Nordic region, reflects the growth in design-driven opportunities that Arrow's engineering-led teams identified during the year.
When presenting the award to the Arrow team, Mario Orlandi, Sales Director, Distribution, for Motorola Europe, commented: "We are delighted to name Arrow as the best North European distribution sales performer for 2002.
Based on the company's investment in engineering support we are convinced that the current year will see further increases in sales of Motorola products".
Chris McAneny, Arrow's Northern European Marketing Director, adds: "Arrow's philosophy of investing in specialised application and sales engineering support was key to increasing the number of design-ins for Motorola products during 2002".
