Both the SP14Q006 and SP14Q006-T incorporate a low-power, white LED backlight providing a brightness of 150cd/m2.
While providing significant improvement in contrast, all the new display modules offer full mechanical and electrical compatibility with Hitachi's existing monochrome quarter-VGA SP14Q00x family.
The modules have been designed to provide a cost effective display solution for a wide range of applications including EPOS systems, process control, instrumentation, information terminals and man-machine interfaces.
To assist engineers that are implementing complex man-machine interfaces, Arrow is also offering Hitachi's SP14Q005-ZZA, SP14Q006-ZZA and SP14Q006-TZA display units, which add a four-wire analogue resistive touchscreen to the display module.
