Hitachi's transmissive TX14D11VM1CBA is a 320 x 240 LCD module that accepts industry-standard 6bit digital RGB and is capable of displaying 262K colours.

An RGB black matrix colour filter ensures highly saturated colours.

The TX14D11VM1CBA display uses a COG (chip on glass) structure that provides a slim, compact and lightweight module.

A long life U-shape CFL provides an exceptional brightness of 350cd/m2 and a half brightness lifetime of 50kh, making the display suitable for use under a wide range of ambient lighting conditions.

Wide-viewing-angle antiglare polarisers provide 100-degree horizontal and 120-degree vertical viewing angles, and display contrast ratio is 350:1.

The form factor of the TX14D11VM1CBA provides mechanical outline compatibility with all Hitachi's existing 5.7in quarter-VGA monochrome and colour STN displays.

This feature enables designers to offer product differentiation or enhanced performance without changing mechanical designs.
