A new 3.6in quarter-VGA colour STN LCD module features a wide operating temperature range of -20 to +70C through the use of a novel liquid crystal fluid.

Arrow can now offer a 3.6in quarter-VGA colour STN LCD module that features a wide operating temperature range of -20 to +70C.

This performance is achieved through the use of a new liquid crystal fluid.

The Hitachi SX09Q005 display module features a resolution of 320 x 240 and is capable of displaying up to 4096 colours.

The SX09Q005 display is produced using a COG (chip on glass) structure that provides an extremely compact and lightweight module.

High brightness, low power white LEDs are implemented to provide a reliable and robust backlight solution.

These features qualify the SX09Q005 module as suitable for a wide range of industrial applications requiring a high quality, compact colour display.

The combination of compact dimensions, low power and wide temperature operation also make the display ideal for portable, handheld or battery powered applications, such as instrumentation, measurement devices and data loggers.

The new SX09Q005 complements and offers mechanical outline compatibility with Hitachi's existing quarter-VGA monochrome SP10Q010 family.

A four wire analogue resistive touchscreen is available with the SX09Q005-ZZA display module.
