Powerful addition in northern Europe

The agreement with Astec in northern Europe extends the existing successful relationships that Astec Power and Arrow have already built up in the USA, central Europe, southern Europe, and Asia.
Under the terms of the agreement, Arrow Electronics UK and Arrow Nordic will stock and support the full range of Astec's standard AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies.
Astec's product range offers power conversion solutions ranging in performance from 5W to 7.5kW, as well as products for dedicated applications including communications equipment.
In addition to the standard product portfolio, Arrow will support nonstandard customer requirements in northern Europe by providing design-in technical support for modified standard and full custom power supply solutions.
Commenting on the appointment of Arrow in northern Europe, Phil Lamb, Astec Power's Managing Director, states: "We have enjoyed highly successful relationships with Arrow businesses around the world, and this move is the logical next step in our strategy for sales growth by delivering global distribution support for our expanding customer base".
Chris McAneny, Northern European Marketing Director for Arrow, adds: "Astec provides a source for high quality power conversion solutions that will complement our existing portfolio of power supply products.
