FCI Connectors Sweden has named Arrow as its Northern Europe Distributor of the Year for 2003.

FCI Connectors Sweden has named Arrow as its Northern Europe Distributor of the Year for 2003, following a year in which the distributor maintained continuous quarter on quarter growth, and significantly exceeded overall sales expectations "Arrow demonstrated exceptional focus on developing and growing their business with FCI as well as unrivalled flexibility of working with customers and FCI within the whole Nordic region", commented Ronald Velda, European Distribution Manager for FCI

"The whole Arrow team was very dedicated, working closely with key customers to enable them to benefit fully from our innovative technologies, as well as the continued supply of off-the-shelf connectors for existing products and markets".

"The working relationship between the two companies in each region is exceptional at all levels, and this is certainly reflected in the results and activities achieved".

Gitte Hammeken, Marketing Manager of Arrow Northern Europe, added: "A variety of criteria had to be met to achieve this prestigious award".

"Arrow's commitment to the FCI business ensured that we met and in many cases exceeded all of our targets, and we look forward to further growing FCI business in 2004 and beyond".

This is the first year that FCI has run its distributor of the year award program.

The award is made on the basis of business growth, in comparison with the network as a whole, together with other criteria including customer support, design-in effort, business planning and the overall relationship.
