Development for voice and data DSL equipment
The latest reference platform kit from Arrow Electronics simplifies the design, evaluation, prototyping and debugging of DSL-based equipment for use in SOHO environments.
The result is a fully automatic system for the detailed registration of design projects, which simultaneously updates in real time the data held on IT systems at Arrow and National.
Commenting on the announcement, Chris McAneny, Arrow's Northern European Marketing Director, states: "This is the first time in Europe that an electronics distributor and supplier have successfully implemented commercial communications based on the RosettaNet standards".
"The implementation underlines our commitment to forging strategic supplier relationships that support improvements in operating efficiencies, streamline the supply chain and, ultimately, further enhance the service we can offer our customers".
He adds: "Using RosettaNet to ensure the seamless integration of National's IT systems with those of Arrow will lead to a number of benefits including the elimination of multiple data entries, reductions in potential data entry errors, and faster design cycles".
