Development for voice and data DSL equipment
The latest reference platform kit from Arrow Electronics simplifies the design, evaluation, prototyping and debugging of DSL-based equipment for use in SOHO environments.
The modules offer a wide viewing angle, high colour saturation and a contrast ratio of 350:1.
The smaller footprint of the new display gives design engineers much greater flexibility in how they can configure and locate display interfaces.
A very narrow bezel around the screen means that the module can be fitted into smaller areas, while leaving room for controls and switches close to the perimeter of the display.
Measuring 131 x 102 x 10mm) for the non-touch-screen version TX14D12VM1CBA, the new modules include an integrated DC/DC convertor that enables use with a single 3.3V power supply.
A long life L-shaped CFL backlight offers a half-brightness lifetime of 50kh.
With a brightness level of 350cd/m2, the modules produce clear, sharp images and graphics operating in a transmissive mode and producing 256K colours.
The TX14D12VM1CXX series is also available with an integrated four-wire analogue resistive touchscreen, part no TX14D12VM1CAA.
