The latest reference platform kit from Arrow Electronics simplifies the design, evaluation, prototyping and debugging of DSL-based equipment for use in SOHO environments.
The inventory acquisition and increase in FAE support will further boost Arrow's support for the Philips franchise in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
At the same time, the move will ensure a stable supply of product and support for Nordic customers who sourced Philips products from Promax prior to the end of the Philips/Promax distribution agreement.
Discussing the move, Karl Johan Lier, the Arrow Nordic Managing Director, comments: "Acquiring the Promax inventory and investing in additional FAE resource is further evidence of the importance that Arrow places on the Nordic region".
"As well as the benefit to our existing customers, this move also ensures that companies who previously bought through Promax can obtain the parts that they need, but with the added advantage of access to Arrow's broad portfolio of local and global design and logistics support and value added services".
