Development for voice and data DSL equipment
The latest reference platform kit from Arrow Electronics simplifies the design, evaluation, prototyping and debugging of DSL-based equipment for use in SOHO environments.
The company will also benefit from business support and incentives worth NOK 100,000 from Innovation Norway (Innovasjon Norge), a department of the Norwegian Government.
Named in honour of the Norwegian electronics entrepreneur, Vebjorn Tandberg - founder of Tandberg, the radio company that went on to become a leader in videoconferencing technology - the prize is a joint initiative involving Arrow and other key organisations in the Norwegian electronics industry.
Bengt Thuresson, Vice Chairman of Tandberg Television, presented the prize to CEO Johnny Dolvik, who founded T-VIPS in 2004.
The company secured the prize against stiff competition thanks to a combination of technical innovation and business potential, including the company's proven ability to address the needs of the global marketplace.
