Single-chip control of PC Card interfaces
Arrow Electronics has a family of compact, highly integrated and power-efficient PC Card controllers that will help designers to lower component count, save space and reduce power consumption.
The M series has many distinctive and unique features that set the toggle switches apart from other miniatures currently offered in today's marketplace.
The M series' high torque bushing construction prevents rotation or separation from the frame during installation.
Antirotation design is standard on all noncylindrical levers.
The M series' high quality construction includes an interlocked actuator block to prevent switch failure due to biased lever movement.
High insulating barriers increase the isolation of circuits in multi-pole devices and provide added protection to contact points.
Prominent external insulation barriers increase insulation resistance and dielectric strength.
The frame is constructed of stainless steel to resist corrosion and is clinched to the case well above the base and terminals.
NKK's extensive M series is available as single, dual, triple or four-pole, with multi-circuit configurations.
The range also features an anti-jamming actuator design to protect against mechanism damage from downward force on the toggle or plunger.
Actuators include accessory options in various colours and styles.
The M series is available with solder lug, PC, wire wrap, straight, bracketed and angle-mount PC terminal choices.
The M series' logic level and power capabilities suit varying design application requirements.
Power-rated models are rated at 6A at 125V AC and 3A at 250V AC.
Logic level versions are rated at 0.4VA maximum at 28V AC/DC.
Terminals are epoxy sealed to prevent the entry of flux, solvents and other contaminants.
The M series is UL-recognised, CSA-certified and features UL94V0 flammability ratings.
The switches also meet RoHS directives for environmental safety.
