Incorporating an industry-standard form factor with functional performance features, the CVN300 delivers Artesyn's proven reliability at a competitive price.
The CVN300 comes in a 3.4 x 5.9 x 5.5-inch package and utilises an industry-standard form factor, providing wide design flexibility.
Unlike standard ATX supplies, the CVN300 has extensive peripheral and auxiliary connectors, allowing users to configure it for a variety of server, communications and computer system applications.
The modules are internally cooled and feature fan monitoring and control signals, allowing external diagnostics and control of fan operation.
All modules offer five output voltages (+3.3/+5/+12/-12/5VSB) that are compatible with current microprocessor platforms used in server systems, and allow for migration to future microprocessor platforms.
Remote sensing of the +3.3V, +5V, and +12V outputs allows users to configure systems for tight voltage regulation.
The minimum efficiency of the CVN300 is 70% over the specified range of input voltage, making it the 'best in the class'.
The end user will benefit from a robust thermal design, improved system performance, and high reliability with the CVN300.
The CVN300 utilises power factor correction and complies with EN61000-3-2.
The universal AC input allows for 90-264 VAC, 50/60 Hz and single-phase operation.
The CVN300 also incorporates EMI filtering that meets conducted and radiated FCC and CISPR22 class B limits.
The CVN300 incorporates over-voltage and current-limiting protection, as well as an internal fan override function.
All modules have a power-on function and a power-good signal, which are compatible with industry standards.
The CVN300 has full international safety approval including UL1950 recognised and licensed to IEC950 and EN60950.
