Artesyn Technologies has introduced the BXF200/250 series of high-density, full-brick, DC/DC converters The BXF200/250 series is the second part of Artesyn's Full-Brick program

The modules are offered with a range of features in a standard industry footprint, and afford designers greater flexibility in managing their high-density power needs.

The BXF200/250 is designed for distributed power applications in the computing and communications markets.

The single-output BXF200/250 is built in the industry standard, full-brick footprint.

It is initially available with output voltages of 3.3V, 2.5V, 2V, 1.8V and 1.5V, with a 48V (36V - 75V) input.

The BXF200/250 series are very cost effective and have an MTBF of >1,750,000Hrs.

Users can draw up to 40A from the BXF200, and 50A from the BXF250.

All BXF200/250 models offer a wide range of standard features including short-circuit, over-voltage and over-temperature protection, which safeguard expensive circuitry and ensure reliable operation.

The modules also include wide trim capability, remote sensing and remote on/off.

The BXF200/250 has a 1500V DC isolation rating and carries full international safety approval.
