A range of rack-mountable power shelves is available for users wishing to configure multiple power sources for high power applications or redundant-mode operation.
AFE1200 series power supplies are available with a choice of 48 or 24V DC outputs; the 48V model can deliver up to 25A, and the 24V model can deliver up to 50A.
Both models also provide an auxiliary 12V/1A DC output for powering items such as external housekeeping circuitry.

Artesyn Technologies has introduced the EXB30 series of high-efficiency, single-output, open-frame, isolated DC/DC converters.
The auxiliary output is isolated from the main output, and both outputs are fully floating, enabling users to adopt whatever rail reference configuration they require.
AFE1200 series power supplies have an 85 to 264V AC universal input range and accommodate mains frequencies from 47 to 63Hz, enabling them to operate from any standard single-phase AC mains supply virtually anywhere in the world.
The supplies incorporate power factor correction, providing a minimum power factor of 0.99.
They also comply with IEC1000-6, -3 and -2 for immunity to conducted and radiated emissions and electrostatic discharge, and meet CISPR 22 and FCC-CFR class A standards for conducted and radiated noise.
Featuring built-in, fan-assisted cooling, AFE1200 series power supplies are housed in a compact package, measuring just 11.5 x 6.75 x 3.35in, that is compatible with most standard rack-mount distributed power systems.
To assist users who wish to configure multiple power supplies for higher power demand applications or for redundant-mode operation, Artesyn has also introduced two new power shelves.
The AFS2400 and AFS4800 power shelves accommodate two and four AFE1200 series power supplies respectively, and fit into standard 19in-wide cabinets.
The power shelves are equipped with circuit breakers, EMI line filters and interface cards for control and protection signals, enabling users to easily configure complete front end power systems for high availability data processing and telecommunications applications.
