Featuring active power factor correction to minimise input harmonic distortion, the LPS125 is a compact 85-264V AC power supply that is ideal for 1U rack installations and other low-profile applications.
The unit can deliver its full rated output of 130W with 30ft3/min forced air or 80W with convection cooling.
This compact low power switcher is ideally suited for a wide variety of applications including telecommunications, networking, test and measurement, single-board computers and Gigabit Ethernet devices.
Only 32mm high, the LPS125 has a compact footprint of only 76 x 127mm, and can be set up for lengthwise or crosswise airflow, giving designers layout flexibility.
The device also features a 12V 1/2A auxiliary output and 5V at 1/2A standby output, as well as overload, overvoltage and thermal protection.
It includes a built-in Class B EMI filter, remote sense, remote inhibit and single-wire parallel on the primary output that enables current-sharing to balance loads.
The new LPS125 model has an operating temperature range of 0 to 50C without derating and can function up to 70C by derating the output 2.5%/C.
It includes IEC EN61000-3-2 harmonic and IEC EN61000-4-X susceptibility compliance.
The LPS125 demonstrates a mean time between failures (MTBF) of over 550kh at full load in 25C ambient conditions.
It also complies with worldwide safety and performance standards from UL, CSA, VDE, Nemko, CB and CE.
