The Artic Oven is a low-cost surface-mount reflow oven for prototype SMD reflow that is capable of reaching temperatures above 270C as necessary for lead-free reflow operations.

Articulation has introduced a low-cost convection reflow oven suited for lead-free surface mount reflow applications.

The Artic Oven is a low-cost surface-mount reflow oven for prototype SMD reflow that is capable of reaching temperatures above 270C as necessary for lead-free reflow operations.

Forced air convection helps to evenly distribute the 1450W of energy within the heat chamber.

This oven, when partnered with Articulation's microprocessor based Reflower oven controller, provides a cost effective solution to the prototype lead-free SMD reflow problem.

The oven's temperature profile is easily programmable using a PC and the Reflower's PC Profile Maintenance application, which is included at no additional cost with the Reflower.

The Profile Maintenance application also provides the capability of storing and retrieving multiple reflow profiles on the PC's hard disk.

Once the profile is downloaded onto the Reflower, the Reflower controls the Artic Oven's temperature profile and the PC is free to perform other tasks.

The Artic Oven lists for only US $179 and the Reflower lists for just $245, providing programmable lead free surface mount reflow capability for the incredible price of $424.
