An industrial strength Wi-Fi mesh product can boost the signal strength to 400m in open space and provide multifrequency support.

ArrowSpan has announced the availability of the MeshAP 2180, designed for outdoor wireless network deployments The high power 200mW (23dBm) outdoor access point provides greater coverage outdoors and covers hot zones over hundreds of square miles

This industrial strength Wi-Fi mesh product can boost the signal strength to 400m in open space and provide multifrequency support.

Users will have the ability to choose between 5.8GHz, 5.3GHz, or 2.4GHz, depending on their requirements.

A 4.9GHz spectrum version of the MeshAP will also be available in the upcoming months when the MeshAP 2182 is released.

The MeshAP 2180 is designed for municipal Wi-Fi deployments for public safety, public access, campus deployment, construction sites or managed services.

Each unit consists of a weatherproof enclosure with an industrial grade temperature support of -40 to +55C that can withstand wind, rain, and extreme temperatures.

ArrowSpan's multiple wireless path design for both backhaul and user traffic, eliminates adjacent AP signal interference and provides zero performance degradation.
