Castor has served as an Artimi director since June 2005, and brings more than 25 years of electronics industry experience to his role as chair.

Castor cofounded and became CEO of TeraLogic, a world leader in HDTV SoCs, and with his team, forged strategic alliances with consumer electronics giants, including Sony, Mitsubishi and Samsung.
Later he held executive management roles with Oak Technology and Zoran Corporation.
A member of the Fairchild team in the 1970s, Castor also had a corporate strategy consulting practice helping major corporations grow a number of successful new businesses.
He currently serves on the boards of Adaptec, a data storage solutions company, Genesis Microchip, a leading supplier of display image processors, and Omneon Video Networks, a leading supplier of broadcast media servers.
Castor holds a BA with distinction from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
