The PMMK225 series offers dramatically reduced case sizes that are up to 30% smaller than products with similar output power.

New from Astrodyne Corporation, the PMMK225 line of high-density switching power supplies provide 225W output power with active PFC, and have been designed to meet the space and performance parameters needed in medical and dental instrumentation and systems With a choice of package styles, all models accept 90-264V AC universal input, and six models in each package style provide single outputs from 5 to 48V DC

The PMMK225 series is approved for UL/EN60601-1 medical safety specifications.

Using high density SMT construction and providing power densities up to 4W/in3, the PMMK225 offers dramatically reduced case sizes which are up to 30% smaller than products with similar output power.

The PMMK225 series may be ordered in three package styles: U-channel, fully enclosed or DIN-rail mounting.

All models feature short-circuit, overvoltage and overcurrent protection and an integral power-good LED indicator.

The PMMK225 series operates at 100% capability to a temperature of 50C with 8.5 litre/s forced cooling.

Dimensions are 178 x 98 x 38mm (U-channel), and all models feature screw terminal input/output connections.

Commercial (PMK225) UL/EN60950-1 versions are also available.

The PMMK225 series is value-priced at US $102 in OEM quantities with delivery at 6 weeks ARO.
