The multifunctional Topaz-XII delivers the perfect balance between high speed and high accuracy.

It handles an extremely high component mix, from 0201 to CSPs, BGAs, large fine-pitch QFPs, odds and connectors, while achieving mounting speeds up to 20,000 components per hour.

On-stand, the CLi version of the proven Topaz-XII demonstrates new features including RFID technology for automatic set-up verification, real-time component inventory management and traceability, and on-the-fly 3D vision supporting the drive for zero-defect process capability.

The new vision system allows, for example, generation of detailed topography images of QFPs and BGAs with no speed penalty.

The Topaz-XII can be used stand-alone, or in combination with Assembleon's AX or other Gem machines to handle any application.

Another high-performance multifunctional machine on-stand is the Opal-XII, offering a level of functionality which is exceptional at its price level.

Startup operations, and other smaller SMT manufacturers requiring a high feeder count and placing a wide range of component types stand to benefit from this competitively priced machine with built-in expandability and many recent Gem enhancements.
