Pick and place machines expand EMS provider
Electronics manufacturing solutions provider Mara Technologies has bought another four Assembleon pick and place machines as a base for its latest expansion.
The co-operation between Assembleon and Yamaha IM began in 1987, when Assembleon launched the companies' first mutual product, the CSM46.
Since then, the partnership has been regularly extended, with now more than 18 years of close and continuous co-operation.
Together, Assembleon and Yamaha have grown to become the number one supplier of pick and place machines worldwide in terms of units.
The companies' combined product portfolios perfectly cover any application for SMT electronics board assembly, from a technology, volume and geographical perspective.
The customer support capabilities of the two companies are recognised worldwide as the best in the industry.
"Together, our two companies have the economies of scale and technical expertise that electronics assembly operations worldwide can rely on", added Leon Husson, CEO of Assembleon.
"With today's printed circuit boards characterised by continued miniaturisation and a widening component mix, the winners in the market will be the manufacturers who can make their machines future proof, while still delivering a cost-down, quality-up process".
"Increasingly, both Assembleon and Yamaha are focusing on seamless integration into our customers' manufacturing environment", said Yoshihisa Iwatsuka, Vice President of Yamaha IM.
"That is true for the processes themselves, for the software, and for the complete supply chain".
