Motorola will showcase the power of its industry-leading communications servers - the open foundation for seamless mobility - at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.

Motorola will showcase the power of its industry-leading communications servers - the open foundation for seamless mobility - at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, Spain from 13th to 16th February 2006.

Proof-of-concept demonstrations of Motorola's AdvancedTCA (ATCA) and MicroTCATM products will be onsite to illustrate the rapid growth in potential applications for communications servers, including IMS, WiMAX, IP PBX and multimedia messaging.

To further accelerate the adoption of communications servers for embedded communications computing, Motorola also announced a series of initiatives and product developments.

These are designed to enable equipment manufacturers to focus on adding their application-specific value, thereby reducing the time, cost and risk involved in deploying new revenue-generating services or migrating existing services to standards-based technology.
