Motorola's Embedded Communications Computing business has been selected by Siemens Communications Group as a preferred supplier of AdvancedTCA based communications servers.

Motorola's Embedded Communications Computing business has been selected by Siemens Communications Group as a preferred supplier of AdvancedTCA based communications servers for Siemens' next generation telecom architecture.

"Siemens is committed to apply an open standards-based common platform with AdvancedTCA as a main technology in both its mobile networks and fixed networks portfolio", said Dr Dieter Carl, Vice President Platform Strategy of Siemens Communications.
