Atrenta has opened a new office in Paris, France, and appointed a new European sales director, Bruno Geldreich, to accommodate and expand its European presence.

This move, combined with Atrenta's recent new distribution relationships in Asia and Israel, underscores Atrenta's commitment to provide better sales, support and resources vital to servicing its growing business in Europe and Asia.

Bruno Geldreich has over 20 years of experience in sales and management in semiconductor and EDA companies in Europe.

Prior to joining Atrenta, Geldreich led sales for most of continental Europe for Ikos Systems.

Before that, he was in charge of major accounts at AT and T Microelectronics, now Agere Systems.

He also served at AMS in sales and management positions for several years.

Geldreich started his professional career with Intel Corp.

"Atrenta's increased presence in Europe enhances our capacity to provide the essential support and services to the rapidly expanding European customer base for our SpyGlass predictive analysis solutions", said Leslie Landers, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Atrenta.

"Bruno's high degree of commitment to customer satisfaction, extensive EDA experience, and a deep knowledge of the business in Europe will be instrumental in our continuing growth and emerging market position in Europe".
