A novel Ethernet power controller can be controlled over any TCP/IP network using generic Ethernet or web browser.

Available from Audon Electronics, the IP9258 is a novel Ethernet power controller that can be controlled over any TCP/IP network using generic Ethernet or web browser.

Not requiring any software skill, each of the four outlets on the controller can be independently switched on, off or booted (off-delay-on) via the built-in web server.

The IP9258 also has a time switch function.

Each of the four outputs can be configured to switch on and off at preset date/time intervals.

The times can be every day, every weekend only or every week day only.

This can be overridden at any time by the user through the web interface.

The IP9258 can supply up to a maximum of 7A/250V AC or 10A/120V AC power.

It uses internationally standard IEC320 inlet/outlet connectors that make it easy to use anywhere in the world with locally available PC cables and adapters.

The IP9258 is housed in a robust metal enclosure and has power outlet status LED indicators.

It is supplied with a power lead and a software CD.

The main application areas of IP9258 power are network server reboot, remote power control, process control and building security and management systems.
