A senior executive from Aculab will address key issues surrounding the speech technology industry at V-World Europe 2002 in London on 10th-11th September.

In a session entitled "Help yourself to successful solutions", commercial manager Tim Joint will share market perspectives from the viewpoint of a computer telephony vendor that provides the telephony connections and echo cancelled audio feed to speech recognisers.

Highlighting companies that have already embraced the concepts of speech recognition, he will offer real-life examples of speech technology deployments and reveal how companies can generate revenue from the technology.

Tim will also look at different companies' individual areas of expertise, and consider why partnerships are key to producing best in class solutions.

Also at V-World Europe, Aculab executives will be available to discuss how a combination of Aculab's Prosody DSP resource platform, together with Nuance speech recognition and Nuance Voice Web Server solutions, can meet developers' requirements.
