The new Aculab E1 cPCI card will offer up to 16 signalling links for SS7 and initially the product will support the TCAP/SCCP software.
Due for launch at the 3GSM Congress, the new Aculab E1 cPCI card will offer up to 16 signalling links for SS7 and initially the product will support the TCAP/SCCP software that, like all other protocols, can be downloaded from Aculab's website under a cost free licence The signalling links can be configured by the developer to be either in a single E1, or spread between the eight E1s present on the card

Aculab has launched a 30-channel IP telephony gateway PCI card.
The new card will work using Aculab's version 6 (V6) telephony software and the first release will be for the Windows environment.
Later, the card will also be available to use in both Linux and Sun Sparc Solaris operating systems and will also support the ITU-T ISUP protocol enabling up to 32 E1s to be configured in a single linkset.
