Demonstrating commitment to its partnership with Nuance, Aculab's Audio Provider now supports Nuance 8.5, as well as Nuance Voice Platform 3.0 This ensures the continued development of applications using the latest speech technology from Nuance

Aculab's Nuance Audio Provider is a software package that gives developers the ability to combine the benefits of Nuance's speech capabilities with the media processing resources of Prosody.

For integrators using Prosody cards this confirms Aculab's commitment to offer choice for speech recognition technologies.

Operating system support is available for Microsoft Windows and Sun SPARC Solaris.

The tight integration with Nuance enables a quick project roll out to be achieved, and when combined with Aculab's range of telephony protocols and approvals, worldwide customer opportunities can be addressed.

This is further aided through Aculab's emphasis and energy invested in training, support and the development of mutually beneficial partnerships with its customers.

To date, Aculab has seen deployments around the world in a variety of market sectors; including the transport, telecommunications, call centre and entertainment industries.

Aculab is a proud sponsor of V-World, the annual voice automation conference hosted by Nuance since 1998.

This year's conference, from 17th to 20th May in Orlando, Florida, is designed for business and technical people wanting to realise the benefits of voice automation.
