Slim fans claim top efficiency
Designed specifically for such applications as enclosure/cabinet cooling and fume extraction, Air Control Industries' "SlimLine" fans offer high power to size performance.
Designed specifically for such applications as enclosure/cabinet cooling and fume extraction, Air Control Industries' "SlimLine" fans offer high power to size performance.
In addition to the compactness offered by these ACI fans, which minimises intrusion in to enclosure/cabinet accommodation, the SlimLine fans also feature precision balancing.
This results from a unique design that integrates the impeller with the rotor which provides smooth, quiet operation with reduced wear on bearings to ensure a long working life.
Novel characteristics of the fans that help reduce unit size and achieve high efficiency, include an "inside out" design with the rotor revolving around the fixed stator.
This permits the impeller to operate as an efficient heatsink for cooler running while the rotor becomes a high-resistance unit to facilitate speed control.
Airflow rates reach up to 1000m3/h with operating pressures up to 7.5mbar.
Fan cases are in cast aluminium with impellers in galvanised sheet steel.
Mounting options include feet and inlet/outlet drillings.
