Brecis Communications has selected Avant!'s SinglePass-SoC flow to implement the physical design of the world's first multiservice processor (MSP).

Brecis Communications has selected Avant!'s SinglePass-SoC flow to implement the physical design of the world's first multiservice processor (MSP).

This new class of network processor is the first to enable the cost-effective design of broadband customer premise equipment capable of supporting emerging multiservice applications such as combined packetised voice and data with no loss in quality of service.

George Alexy, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Brecis Communications, said, "We recently selected Avant!'s industry leading SinglePass-SoC solution to implement the physical design of the world's first multiservice processor.
