Fabless semiconductor company Pixelworks has selected Avant!'s JupiterXTA hierarchical design planning and the SinglePass-SoC design-closure solution to design its next-generation SoC products.
Fabless semiconductor company Pixelworks has selected Avant!'s JupiterXTA hierarchical design planning and the SinglePass-SoC design-closure solution to design its next-generation SoC products.
JupiterXT and SinglePass-SoC were chosen for their seamless integration of advanced hierarchical design planning and large block optimisation, place, and route atop the Milkyway common database.
JupiterXT is the entry point to Avant!'s widely adopted SinglePass-SoC solution with more than 12,000 successful tape-outs to its credit.
JupiterXT provides hierarchical design planning, time budgeting, and design refinement for seamless hand-off to the advanced Astro optimisation, place, and route design-closure solution.

Today, many design planning engineers use JupiterXT or the previous Jupiter tool for their designs.
Already, in the first two quarters of availability, more than 30% of the existing Jupiter customer base has adopted JupiterXT.
The JupiterXT team's ongoing commitment to improved technology enables our customer to create substantially larger and faster designs, achieve earlier validation of design success, and dramatically increase productivity while reducing time to market.
JupiterXT maintains 100% compatibility with the Milkyway-based, SinglePass-SoC solution for ultra-deep-submicron SoC design.
JupiterXT and the SinglePass-SoC solution are available on Linux, Sun Solaris, and HP U/X operating systems.
