Capacitors perform in microwave
applications
A new family of high performance RF/microwave capacitors have been designed for matching, bypass, coupling, feedback and DC block functions.
AVX's new SQ series of high performance RF/microwave capacitors have been designed for matching, bypass, coupling, feedback and DC block functions in such applications as RF/microwave power amplifiers, mixers, VCOs, low noise amplifiers and filters The porcelain and ceramic dielectric multilayer chips are rated for a working voltage up to 500V DC
They resist moisture due to a fine-grained high-density material, and come with heavy internal palladium electrodes.
Available in tolerances from +/-0.1pF to +/-20% and with a capacitance range from 0.1 to 5100pF, the capacitors also feature RoHS-compliant/lead-free Pd/Ag and 100% tin terminations.
Suited to high current, high Q, low ESR applications, the devices are available in both A (0605) and B (1111) case sizes.
They have excellent voltage, frequency and temperature stability characteristics.
