In order to meet the demanding requirements of military and aerospace customers, AVX has developed a range of capacitors qualified and manufactured in accordance with the AEC-Q200 standard.

In order to meet the demanding requirements of military and aerospace customers, AVX has developed a range of capacitors qualified and manufactured in accordance with the AEC-Q200 standard.

APS capacitors undergo additional automated visual inspection and maverick lot identification by means of a 100% electrical test data statistical analysis.

Samples are also subjected to thermal shock followed by accelerated humidity and life testing.

APS components have special part numbers, thereby ensuring standard compliance from design to distribution.

Each batch is shipped with a certificate of conformance and a reliability package is issued to APS customers on a quarterly basis.

In addition, a detailed qualification package is available on request.

It contains the results on a range of part numbers including X7R dielectric components containing BME electrode and copper terminations with a Ni/Sn-plated overcoat, X7R dielectric components containing BME electrodes and the new Flexiterm soft termination system with a Ni/Sn-plated overcoat, X7R for hybrid applications, and NP0 dielectric components containing a Pd/Ag electrode and silver terminations with a Ni/Sn-plated overcoat.
