Low-profile capacitor aids design
downsize

A low-profile tantalum capacitor allows design engineers to reduce the sizes of their systems by downsizing components, or by reducing the number of components needed.

Extending its RoHS-compliant product range yet further, AVX has introduced a low-profile TAJ lead-free "R" (0805) case size tantalum capacitor Achieving high capacitance values, the device allows design engineers to reduce the size of their systems by downsizing components, or by reducing the number of components needed in a circuit

TAJ "R" offers low profile height options of 1.2, 1.5 and 2.0mm with capacitance values ranging from 0.1 to 22uF.

Capacitance tolerance is +/-10 to +/-20% and operating temperature ranges from -50 to +125C.

Rated voltages are 2.5 to 35V.

Designed for reduced board-level height, design-constrained applications, the parts are suitable for computer power supplies, disk drives, cellular phones and PCMCIA cards. Request a free brochure from AVX ...
