Film capacitors cut inductance

Medium power film capacitors offer inductance as low as 18nH.

AVX has released, with male and female connections, its new FFVE/ FFVI medium power film capacitors offering inductance as low as 18nH With a capacitance range between 12 and 400uF, devices offer significantly improved current handling capacities and lifetime expectancy than leading competition

With a rated DC voltage between 300 and 1900V, devices withstand high levels of surge voltage and high RMS current ratings.

The series uses a nonimpregnated metallised polypropylene or polyester dielectric, which features a controlled self-healing process specially treated for a very high dielectric strength in operating conditions up to 105C.

FFV capacitors are specifically designed for DC filtering.

FFVE performance sets the device as an effective alternative to electrolytic technology. Request a free brochure from AVX ...
