The AVX Quick Connect programme offers samples of over 200 of the company's industry leading FFC connectors and over 50 other connectors within 48 hours of request.
The AVX Quick Connect programme offers great benefits to design engineers as it ensures that they will receive samples of over 200 of the company's industry leading FFC connectors and over 50 other connectors including battery, SIM and wire to board connectors within 48 hours of request.
The off-the-shelf service includes over 10 of the most popular AVX FFC connector families with typical options from 3 to 30 positions.
"In many cases, these fine pitch connectors from all manufacturers are produced in Asia and therefore have associated long lead times, lengthening the design process", comments Andy Kotas, AVX's Connector Product Manager.
"We have the world's lowest profile FFC connectors and other technology leading products and by creating a program that enables our customers to order sample connectors off-the-shelf, we have drastically decreased the lead time of sample deliveries, thus expediting the prototype and design process for the customer".
The defined list of parts available includes 0.5 and 1mm pitch FFC connectors in right angle and straight formats, battery, SIM, I/O and low pin count wire to board connectors.
All items available through the Quick Connect programme are RoHS compliant.
