Detector switches seek automotive applications
The SPVQ4 Series comprises waterproof, high-contact-reliability detector switches that have a long stroke and can withstand severe conditions.
The connectors feature a push-push mechanism, which allows user-friendly and easy handling through manual insertion and removal of the memory card and guarantees a tight footing.
To achieve good tactile response when handling the memory cards, the card connectors create a clearly defined clicking sound.
The SCHA1 series is rated for 3.6V DC and up to 0.5A per pin and guarantees for an operating life of 5000 mating and unmating cycles.
The operating temperature ranges from -20 to +70C.
Further technical specifications are a maximum initial contact resistance of 100mohm at the connector contacts, an insulation resistance of up to 1Gohm and a voltage proof of 500V AC for 1min.
The card connectors are suitable for lead-free reflow soldering and are available in minimum packing units of 1400 pieces.
The high degree of miniaturisation of the SCHA1 series was achieved through the use of Alps' proprietary thin body-forming and precision moulding technologies.
Because of their compact external dimensions these card connectors are an ideal solution for mobile phones.
