Input devices provide three-way
switching
Tiny input devices combine swing and push operation to provide three-way operation (forward, backward and centre-push switching functions) with a single knob.
Alps Electric has extended its SLLQ series with tiny input devices that combine swing and push operation to provide three-way operation (forward, backward and centre-push switching functions) with a single knob With dimensions of only 8.0 x 5.0 x 3.5mm, the new switches are 50% smaller than previous products in the SLLQ series
They provide a lever operation angle of 18 degrees for each direction and an operating lifespan of up to 200,000 swing and push cycles.
The new switches are ideal for highlighting and selecting menu items in small displays on portable electronic devices such as cellular phones, digital cameras, personal digital assistants and MP3 players.
