The SCJD series has a push-push mechanism, which allows an easy handling through manual insertion and removal of the Memory Stick Duo and miniSD cards.

Alps Electric's SCJD connectors allow the use of Memory Stick Duo and miniSD cards in the same slot The standard mount type connectors have a compact, low-profile design with external dimensions of 23.6 x 39.3 x 2.65mm and their long ejection stroke of 5mm for the storage media

For enhanced user-friendliness, the combine type connectors feature a push-push mechanism, which allows an easy handling through manual insertion and removal of the Memory Stick Duo and miniSD cards.

The robust, high-precision manufactured card connectors are guaranteed for an operating life of 10,000 mating/unmating cycles.

They offer an operating temperature range of -10C to +60C.

The connectors are available with a media detection switch, which ascertains the presence of a memory card.

The media detection switch adopts a highly reliable contact structure, ensuring a safe connection to the memory cards.

The SCJD series has a maximum initial contact resistance of 100mohm at the connector contacts and 500mohm at the detection switch, an insulation resistance of up to 1,000Mohm and a voltage proof of 250V AC per minute.

The card connectors comply with the RoHS directive.

Because of their compact external dimensions, these new connectors will increase design freedom for set makers, contributing to their efforts to produce thinner, more compact devices.

The SCJD series is suitable for mobile phones, digital cameras, digital camcorders, PDAs, AV equipment and various other portable devices.
