Embedded platform is cool and quiet
The eBOX745A-EFL300 is an ultra-low-power fanless embedded platform powered by an NS Geode 300MHz processor.
It enables high bandwidth applications such as DSS (digital security surveillance) and so on.
The built-in Intel 915GV Express chipset supports Hyper-Threading Technology and integrates a VGA function.
System memory can support up to 2Gbyte of mainstream DDR II DIMM sockets.
The SBC86808 can operate in industrial environments from 0 to 60C.
"The board lowers the total cost of ownership by dramatically reducing customer's system implementation costs and improving time to market by standard I/O outlets", said Joseph Chou, Product Manager, Embedded Computing Division, Axiomtek.
The board supports LVDS LCDs with 18/36 or 24/48bit channel modes.
For I/O, the SBC86808 supports AC97 codec audio, Fast Ethernet, four COM ports, four USB 2.0 ports, and digital I/O.
The SBC86808 will be available at the middle of June.
