Bare-bone fanless network appliance is powered by ultra-low-voltage Intel Celeron M 1GHz and zero cache processors, with a 400MHz front side bus.

New from Axiomtek, the NA-806 series is a bare-bone fanless network appliance powered by ultra-low-voltage Intel Celeron M 1GHz and zero cache processors, with a 400MHz front side bus (FSB), and featuring an Intel 852GM chipset integrated VGA function and built-in PCI Fast Ethernet interfaces Available with four Ethernet ports via a PCI interface, the NA-806 series supports fail-over, load sharing and load balancing functions for critical network environments through Intel LAN chip

The platform supports memory up to 1Gbyte of DDR266/333 DIMM sockets with unbuffered nonECC memory.

In order to provide the best network performance and best utilisation, the NA-806 series has powerful storage interfaces including IDE and third-party application programs using DOM (disk on module) or CompactFlash.

In addition, a Mini-PCI slot is available for expansion.

The operating temperature range is from 0 to 40C.

I/O features include one DB9 console port, two USB ports, power connector, four RJ45 ports and LED indicators.

With the LAN bypass function, the NA-806 series can be controlled through WDT and GPIO pin definitions without downtime.

For system login with monitoring and building control proxy, the NA-806 series has space for a 2.5in hard drive for software porting by software solution providers.

In addition, the NA-806 series also offers an optional enclosure which features management functions, including BIOS redirection to console port and more.

The NA-806 series features a 1U desktop and rack mountable form factor, and this RoHS compliant product will be available around the middle of November 2006.
