The Intel 945GME Express chipset featuring the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 offers enhanced graphics and increased I/O bandwidth.
The SBC86831 supports Socket M compliant processors with 533/667MHz FSB (front side bus) including Intel CoreTM2 Duo, Core Duo, Core Solo and Intel Celeron M processors.
It comes with dual DDR2 DIMM sockets support maximum up to 3Gbyte of memory.
For flexible display options, the SBC86831 has a PCIe x16 slot which as default is set to support an Add2+ card for converting SDVO signals to various functions such as: DVI, a second CRT, HDTV and a second LVDS output.
The onboard serial interfaces include two IEEE1394a ports, eight lines of USB 2.0, eight digital I/Os and four COM ports.
Additionally, dual gigabit Ethernet ports are connected from the PCIe x1 bus for full speed 1000 Base-T networking connectivity.
And the SBC86831 features an onboard SMBus interface to support battery monitoring.
