Axiomtek has introduced an EPIC form factor single board computer (SBC), the EP830, which supports Socket M Intel Core2 Duo, Core Duo and Core Solo processors with 533/667 MHz front side bus (FSB) Powered by a Mobile Intel 945GME+ICH7M Express chipset, this embedded board offers improved graphics and increased I/O bandwidth and provides excellent flexibility for a wide range of embedded applications like digital signage appliance (DSA,) DVR, POS and gaming markets

The EP830 has a mainstream DVI-I interface onboard, which integrates DVI-D (digital video) and CRT (analogue video) displays as well as 24bit single/dual-channel LVDS that can maximise the visual quality on flat panel LCD and digital projectors.
The Mobile Intel 945GME Express Chipset provides remote asset management capabilities and improved storage speed and reliability.

Additionally, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports are connected from PCIe x1 bus for full-speed 1000 Base-T networking connectivity.
It comes with two IEEE1394a ports, four USB 2.0 ports, eight Digital I/Os, four COM ports and CompactFlash for SSD storage devices.
