Advantech has launched the IPC-7220 industrial computer chassis, the next-generation wall-mountable industrial node solution with high capacity for ATX motherboards.
Key features of the PCM-9575 include a 4X AGP controller, PCI audio and Ethernet interfaces and a two channel LVDS interface.
Other onboard features include a PCI slot, an LPT, two USB's and IrDA.
Four serial ports provide three RS232s and a single RS232/422/485.
Additionally, support is provided for both DiskOnChip 2000 and CompactFlash cards.
The design features a PC/104-Plus interface for ISA/PCI module upgrades, extra Ethernet ports can be added via the same interface, allowing the PCM-9575 to be used as a mini-server or gateway device.
Additionally, by combining the SBC with Advantech's PCM3663 PC/104-plus module, integrators can achieve a high level of network flexibility.
Further expansion is possible through the ability to connect up to two ATA/66/100 EIDE devices and two FDDs.
A VIA Twister chip with integrated Savage4 2D/3D/Video accelerator gives the PCM-9575 comprehensive multimedia capability, with up to 32Mbyte dedicated graphics processing power.
3D audio and DVD play are supported through the 4X AGP VGA/LCD controller.
TV-out is also provided as an option, this supports both NTSC and Pal formats through S-video and composite video connectors.
The operating temperature range for the fanless PCM-9575 is 0 to +60C.
Power supply requirements are 4.5A (max) at +5V.
