Advantech has launched the IPC-7220 industrial computer chassis, the next-generation wall-mountable industrial node solution with high capacity for ATX motherboards.
DVP-7420 is a multiformat video encoder card.
This high-powered addon card uses multiple algorithms to buffer and compress raw video data into video stream that are transcoded onboard into MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and formats.
The DVP-7420 is capable of streaming video up to 30/25 frames per second at full-D1 resolution and at full-motion frame rate.
It is ideal for a wide range of encoding applications from any type of security and surveillance system.
Advantech also provides full SDK for application development and support for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP.
DVP-7420 supports four channels of MPEG-1/2/4 real-time video encoding up to full D1 DVD quality at 1Mbit/s and 30/25 frames per second frame rate, also high quality 40Kbit/s QCIF video for low-bandwidth communication.
The DVP-7420 hardware MPEG 1/2/4 video encoder engine reduces the main CPU's workload and the programmer's coding time.
The dynamically adjustable bit and frame rate can accommodate variable bandwidths, thereby optimising the quality for better results.
Through onboard 128byte EEPROM, the programmer can place the protection code or system parameters, using the SDK, which comes with sample source code for programming reference.
The SDK (software development kit) package includes drivers for Windows 2000/XP as well as a full API to provide a comprehensive development environment DVP-7420 enables users to significantly improve the effectiveness and business performance of security operations by offering fast, high-quality, hardware encoded MPEG 1/2/4 digital video capture and storage.
DVP-7420 integrates seamlessly with existing Advantech product lines for total digital video solutions designed to meet today's real-life security challenges.
